Business Development Manager (multiple markets):

The Business Development Manager identifies, negotiates and closes sales for SmarterRemarketer’s Software-as-a-Service product suite. Must be a self starting closer who can create a large pipeline of business within a short period of time. The right candidate is a risk-taker who thrives in a start-up environment. Experience with SaaS, a web analytics vendor or ecommerce platform is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential business deals by contacting existing contacts, existing & potential partners, and through industry affiliations; discovering and exploring opportunities
  • Drive brand awareness campaigns and lead generation via networking, tradeshows and conferences.
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market opportunity and financial forecasting.
  • Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Must plan, schedule, and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • A proven sales hunter and closer with a track record of excellence.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience in SaaS based software focused within retail or interactive marketing.
  • Articulate and persuasive oral and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of MS Office and Salesforce.com.
  • Experience selling at the “C” level a plus.
  • Must be able to work virtually from home office outside of Indianapolis HQ; travel required.

 

Client Success Manager:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, hands-on Client Success Manager to help our clients attain success with Smarter Remarketer. The Client Success Manager will be assigned specific clients, and will be responsible for client success, satisfaction, and adoption of the Smarter Remarketer Platform, reporting to the Manager of Client Services. Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment. Team collaboration is essential.

As part of a young, growing company, the Client Success Manager will also have the opportunity to help define department process and identify areas of improvement and efficiency. This individual is a key member of the Client Services team.

Position Location:

  • Indianapolis, IN

Responsibilities:

  • Client Success and Retention
    • Work in partnership with the Sales Team and Technical Services team to ensure successful client onboarding
    • Work closely and often to assist the Solutions Consulting team on overall marketing strategy for each client
    • Work closely with the Smarter Remarketer Professional Services team to ensure the successful launch of Smarter Remarketer campaigns
    • Ensuring each client is reaching ROI and campaign revenue goals
    • Work with the Business Development Manager with upsells and contract growth opportunities
    • Identify roadblocks to client success and creating ways to overcome them
  • Client Satisfaction
    • Grow and maintain close client relationship
    • Lead regular status calls and performance reviews with clients
    • Manage client expectations, product recommendations and escalations – transfer feedback to the appropriate team
    • Ensuring the client is pleased with Smarter Remarketer results, services, and platform
  • Client Adoption of Platform
    • Ensuring the client is using the platform in order to reach maximum breadth and depth of campaigns
    • Training on use of software and ongoing education of new feature sets and best practices
    • Encourage the expansion of campaigns by sharing examples, use cases, and metrics

Client Support Specialist
The Client Support Specialist is responsible for:

  • Providing first tier support to clients
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems for our software as it relates to client needs
  • Documentation and follow through on tickets in the support system to ensure timely resolution
  • Creation of wiki based articles to help prevent future issues
  • Determining solutions to issues or escalation to other support tiers as needed

JavaScript Developer:

Responsibilities:

  • Developing enhancements to the Smarter Remarketer JavaScript base logic
  • Creating test patterns for easy continuous testing of running code
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
  • Helping to create documentation for use by clients and other developers

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of JavaScript application development experience
  • Experience working in a development environment using tools like Grunt and Git
  • Experience with testing tools such as QUnit, Mocha and/or Jasmine
  • Solid understanding of cross/older browser issues
  • Experience with node.js a plus
  • Ability to explain issues to front end developers and understand backend development infrastructure
  • Experience in a software product development environment is a plus

Senior Software Engineer:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C#/ASP.NET developer with a strong background in building high-quality, scalable, and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack.

As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining external facing web applications. This person will work with a small team of developers and analysts to build highly-performing enterprise systems that improve customer website
conversion and messaging.

  • Develop new functionality on our existing software products.
  • Maintenance on existing functionality.
  • Build new systems with .NET 4.0 / C# / ASP.NET / SQL Server 2008 / MongoDb
  • Lead/mentor developers and share knowledge through knowledge-sharing presentations.
  • Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule.

Skills / Attributes Required:

  • Five(+) years’ experience as a developer (lead developer would be a plus).
  • Three(+) years’ experience with C#/ASP.NET.
  • Two(+) years working with SQL Server (2005/2008 preferred).
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • Deep knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2010, ASP.NET, Web Services
  • Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
  • Experience with JQuery or similar technologies.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.

Technical Services Consultant:

The Technical Service Consultant is a customer-facing role responsible for guiding new clients through the implementation process of the Smarter Remarketer platform. Setup includes providing support and feedback for tags and data feeds, importing and mapping data, setting up accounts, and offering general support as clients progress through the implementation process. This position is a dynamic and fast paced role where candidates will find themselves working with several different departments, clients, and services.

Candidates should excel at translating technical requirements to all audiences. Often, Technical Services acts as a translation layer between the Development team and the client, Client Success team, and Professional Services team. Additionally, candidates should have a strong understanding of Javascript, the DOM, HTML, and general website functions in order to provide detailed feedback and educate clients on tagging and data feed structure.

  • Technical Consulting and Platform Knowledge
    • Understand the platform’s technical requirements, how the platform functions, and communicate challenges between departments
    • Work closely with client’s technical team to complete implementation and ensure their future success
    • Work closely with Client Success team to ensure client is on schedule and campaigns will be ready at launch
    • Work closely with the Smarter Remarketer Professional Services team to ensure the successful launch of Smarter Remarketer campaigns
    • Work closely with Development and Technical Services team to support client environments and email service providers
  • Client Education
    • Provide detailed feedback to client and ensure their understanding of how tags and data feeds affect campaigns
    • Generate and update documentation for platforms, tagging, data feeds, and beyond
  • Process Improvement
    • Assist with the development of tools that improve the implementation process, such as unit testing utilities or deployment systems
    • Identify points where process could be made more efficient and brainstorm potential improvements
